Terdoslavich Takes Home International League Player of the Week Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – A hot start to the second half of the 2017 season for Indianapolis Indians first baseman Joey Terdoslavich has earned him some league-wide recognition.

It was announced on Monday that Terdoslavich was named July 10-16’s International League Player of the Week. Terdoslavich joins left-handed pitcher Steven Brault and first baseman Jason Rogers as Indians who have earned the weekly award this year.

Indy only played in four games due to the All-Star break, but Terdoslavich made them count.

The 28-year-old hit an even .500 (8-for-16) with two home runs, two doubles, eight RBIs and five runs scored. Each of his homers were crucial to the Tribe’s victories over the Louisville Bats on July 13 and 14.

Terdoslavich is now a three-time IL Player of the Week award winner, as he took home the honors twice while playing with the Gwinnett Braves in 2014.
