The Indiana Pacers have reached an agreement with free agent forward Adonis Thomas on a non-guaranteed deal, according to Shams Charania of RealGM.com. Thomas tweeted that he will be headed to training camp with the team.

Thomas, 21, is a 6-7 wing that appeared in just six games total in 2013-14 with the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic. He went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft before signing on with the Atlanta Hawks Summer League team, but was later waived. Thomas has spent time in the D-League and played for the Brooklyn Nets Summer League team last month.
Thomas was viewed as a highly-rated recruit coming out of high school. He played at Memphis at the collegiate level for two years, where his freshman season was cut short due to an ankle injury and posted per game averages in his sophomore campaign of 11.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
The Pacers will give Thomas a shot to make the team out of training camp, but the odds of that happening appear to be slim.
