Indy Eleven take on Puerto Rico for the 2nd Time This Season

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind: This Saturday for the Indy Eleven is the second match of back to back games against Puerto Rico FC. Unlike last weekend, this time the “Boys in Blue” are on the road playing in PRFC’s house, Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium.

Last weekends matchup of these two teams was an incredible one. The Eleven came out ready, scoring 2 goals within the first 10 minutes of the match, but Puerto Rico never gave up and fought back to tie the game before the halfway mark.

Coming off the break, Puerto Rico would actually in fact take the lead from the Eleven during the final 45 minutes of the game, but Indy answered back with another goal tieing it all up 3-3. This would be the final score for the match.

The Indy Eleven’s first 2 games of the Spring Season for the North American Soccer League have both ended in a draw. The upside of a tie is that the team is still awarded a point in the standings on the season, but Indy will definitely be looking to finally add that first win to their resume for the season this Saturday.

Justin Braun was the star player for the Eleven last week against PRFC. Braun played a role in all 3 goals scored during the match and in fact was the scorer of 2 of them. With the confidence and momentum left over from the last match, he would be my player to really keep an eye on Tomorrow.

The match is set to take place tomorrow, Saturday April 8th, with a kickoff time of 7:30 p.m. ET and will be nationally televised through beIN Sports and you can also follow live updates via the clubs Twitter feed @IndyElevenLive.
