Indy Eleven Match Against San Francisco Deltas Ends in Draw

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind: This past weekends match for the Indy Eleven against the San Francisco Deltas was another intense and hard fought matchup for both squads.

The “Boys in Blue” second matchup against San Francisco of the season went down on their home turf this time, Michael A. Carroll Stadium located on IUPUI’s campus in downtown Indianapolis. Their last meeting back in March, ended in a tie of 1-1, but this time it was a complete stalemate with both teams finishing the game without a single goal, a final score of 0-0.

The result of this home match up keeps the Eleven’s record of being undefeated at home alive, now setting a North American Soccer League modern era record of 20 straight home games.

One of the only chances of the game for the Eleven to make something happen was stopped in its tracks. Justin Braun and Eamon Zayed connected with one another for a potential shot on the goal around the 10 minute mark but the solid defensive performance coming from both sides of the ball never let that happen.

The “Boys in Blue” are back on the road this week as they are set to travel south to take on Jacksonville Armada FC in Hodges Stadium. The kickoff is set for this Saturday April 29th at 7:00 p.m. ET as the Indy Eleven will be looking to get their first win on the season.
