Indy Eleven Face Against San Francisco for 2nd Time This Season

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind: The “Boys in Blue” are back home this weekend at Michael A. Carroll Stadium as they are set to take on the San Francsico Deltas for the 2nd time this season, in the last 4 matches. The last time the Indy Eleven seen the Deltas was during the season opener on the road, in San Francisco at Kezar Stadium. When these two teams faced off earlier this season it was a great matchup. A very defensive-heavy game with a lot of possession changes and blocked shots on the goal. The end result of the match was a draw with a final score of 1-1.

The Eleven will be looking to come out strong and finally earn their first win on the season this Saturday. With Indy already seeing the Deltas once before, it is technically an advantage, being able to know and experience their playing style and tendencies prior to this game is a benefit.

The matchup is this Saturdsy April 22, and with a kickoff set at 3:00 p.m. ET. The crowd turnout for the home opener of the Eleven’s season was outstanding, and they are hoping to see the same support again, but if you by chance can’t make the game, you’re in luck. The game will be live broadcasted on both ESPN3 and Indy’s local station, MyINDY TV-23.
