Indianapolis Blaze cruises past Illinois Coal Miners

INDIANAPOLIS – Behind 2016 CBA scoring champion, Anthony White, Jr. (17 points), the Indianapolis Blaze used strong second and fourth quarters to pull away late against the Illinois Coal Miners to come out with a double-digit victory.

The Blaze jumped out to an early 11-2 lead to start the contest, and they eventually cruised to a comfortable double-digit victory against their cross-state rivals.

Indianapolis (2-1) was led by Chrishawn Hopkins (27 points) and Anthony White, Jr. (17 points), while Illinois (1-2), who suffered their second consecutive loss by double-digits, were led by former NBA D-League guard, Tyron Criswell with 36 points.

FINAL SCORE: INDIANAPOLIS 105, ILLINOIS 90

Indianapolis, who sits in second place in the league, will host Baltimore next Saturday, while Illinois hosts Indianapolis in two weeks.
