Icy Conditions Postpone Sunday’s Tribe/Bisons Doubleheader

BUFFALO, N.Y. – An ice storm hit upstate New York this weekend, leaving the Buffalo Bisons (3-2) no choice but to cancel their scheduled matchups with the Indianapolis Indians (4-4).

Sunday’s planned doubleheader won’t happen and since the Tribe are not slated to return to Buffalo in the regular season, make-up dates have yet to be formed. The Bisons will be in Indy July 27-29, so doubleheaders that weekend seem likely.

The Indians’ road trip now takes them to Syracuse, where they will hope for better weather.

Austin Coley (0-1, 81.00 ERA) is still penciled in to pitch, with Monday’s game time against the Chiefs set for 6:35 p.m.
