Connor Andras, Danny Banks and Dylan Banks to Play In 2017 FCS Bowl All-Star Game

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Butler redshirt senior DL Danny Banks, redshirt senior LB Dylan Banks and senior captain DL Connor Andras have been selected to play in the fourth annual FCS BOWL All-Star Game in Daytona Beach, FL. The game will take place at Daytona Beach Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 1:30 PM ET.

The game brings together the best FCS football players from across the nation for an opportunity to compete and be scouted by professional teams. The game is traditionally scouted by more than 10 NFL Teams and more than 30 pro scouts from the Arena League and Canadian Football League.

Playing in the annual Bowl Game also provides athletes with the opportunity to receive top-end coaching. Mike Stock, an award-winning 18-year NFL coach, will return for his fourth straight year. Chris Thompson, a veteran coach with AFL experience, will also lead one of the teams.

All three will compete in the bowl game after great careers at Butler University. In 2017, each played in all 11 games for the Bulldogs.

Connor Andras, one of four captains on the 2017 roster, had two sacks and a safety. His 12 tackles included four tackles for loss. He also recovered a fumble. Andras also served as the team’s long-snapper.

Dylan Banks finished his season with 23 solo stops and a total of 40 tackles. Five of those tackles were for loss. He added a sack.

Danny Banks finished his season with seven solo tackles (nine total).

All three will be on the American Team (white) that is coached by Thompson.
