Butler Bulldogs Complete 2015 Football Recruiting Class

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Butler Bulldogs head football coach Jeff Voris put the finishing touches on his 2015 roster with the completion of this year’s recruiting class. The Bulldogs will welcome 41 newcomers from ten different states when fall camp opens on Monday, August 10.

“We can’t wait for this group to get to campus this August,” said Voris of his incoming class. “We feel we have put together another strong group of student-athletes that will help us continue to compete at the top of the PFL.”

Butler’s incoming class includes 18 offensive players, 20 defensive players and three specialists. There are 18 players coming in from Illinois and 12 from Ohio. The Bulldogs will add two players each from Indiana, Georgia and Michigan with the remaining players coming from North Carolina, Maryland, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the group of young men we are bringing into our program this fall,” added assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator Joe Cheshire. “Our staff did an excellent job of identifying young men who fit our football program and University’s culture. This group represents ten different states and addresses a variety of positions, and significantly enhances our program depth. We look forward to watching this new group represent our program on the field, in the classroom and in the community ‘The Butler Way’.”
