Butler Bulldogs All-PFL Performer Michael Demos Sidelined for 2015

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Butler Bulldogs announced that All-Pioneer Football League senior offensive lineman Michael Demos will miss the 2015 season due to a back injury. Demos plans to redshirt the season and return in 2016.

“It’s always tough to lose anyone to injury, especially a first-team All-League guy like Michael,” said Butler coach Jeff Voris. “The important thing is that he gets healthy. He’ll continue to be a strong locker room voice for us, and he’s shown that leadership throughout camp. This is an opportunity for guys along the offensive line to step up and we’re confident they will do that.”

Demos anchored the offensive line for the Bulldogs, starting all 11 Butler games in 2014 en route to All-PFL honors. He was named to the 2015 All-PFL Preseason Team as well. He started 24 consecutive games for the Bulldogs over the past two campaigns. In 2013, he earned honorable mention All-PFL recognition while helping Butler to a second consecutive conference championship.
