SOUTH BEND, IN – On Sunday, it was announced that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-4) will take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (6-6) in the fourth annual New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY.
Both teams suffered what many would consider disappointing seasons, as Notre Dame had BCS aspirations and Rutgers was forced to let go of three coaches Sunday.
Broadcasting Information: Saturday, December 28th, 12:15pm ET; The Bronx, NY, Yankee Stadium; TV – ESPN; Radio – ESPN Radio, SiriusXM Channel 129, WXNT 1430AM Indianapolis, WSBT 960AM/WNSN 101.5FM South Bend.
Some story lines for the Irish are as follows:

- Notre Dame’s rebound from bowl losses to Florida State, Alabama.
- Sending Tommy Rees, T.J. Jones, Zack Martin, Chris Watt, Carlo Calabrese, Dan Fox, seniors out the right way.
- Will Stephon Tuitt return to Notre Dame or leave for the NFL?
